When I was ~15 years old, I watched “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” in my hometown in New Jersey. My father picked me up from theatre rehersals and said “we are about to watch a film starring India’s next big superstar”. And boy.. was he right! I was absolutely enamored by what I saw. But, since I was also young and foolish… I walked out of theatre, fully inspired by the magic I just witnessed and thought… “that’s it, I’ll move to India and become an actor”!! (Keep in mind: at that time there was very little brown skin representation on the Hollywood screen.)
I realized I had a lot of work to do, if I had any hope of becoming a Hindi film actor. I was never a natural dancer.. so, I immediately joined dance classes... Long story short,
@hrithikroshan taught me how to dance. Heck,
@hrithikroshan taught the entire nation how to dance! 🕺🏽🐐
What a magical moment, to be dancing right next to the GOAT himself. Life has an hilarious way of coming full circle ⭕️. Thank you universe. Thank you
@marflix 🙏🏽!!
Also, special shout-out to
@boscomartis and his entire team for prepping us to dance amongst these legends. Your patience is unparalleled. Also, a very special and heartfelt shoutout to
@noitspriyanshu for coming all the way to Raipur and working with me while I was shooting another film ❤️!!
