It is such an honor to have my first car and first 1953 Porsche 356 Emory Outlaw on display at
@pecatl This car will be on display in Atlanta at Porsches’s headquarters until June. If you get a chance to visit, make sure to grab a photo and tag me as I would love to see it.
As many of you know, this is a very special car to me. I built it when I was 14-16 years old. Building it while in high school and began Vintage racing. My name and son
@zayneemory names are still painted on the door. I raced this car for 20 years. In 2010 I made a decision to donate the car to a great cause the “Limbs For Life Foundation”. This foundation means a lot to me because it provides prosthetic limbs to people that cannot afford it. I was introduced to the foundation when my good friend and amputee
@the_ridge_way & I were raising money to put people back on their feet from 2004-2010.
Click the link in my profile to watch the video from 2010 when 1800 people donated $100 to raise $180,000 for the foundation. One lucky gentleman in Texas won the car with one $100 ticket. He kept it for a few years, and then sold it to the current owner that lives in the Northeast United States. Tim, the owner was gracious enough to loan the car to Porsche for this display.
